vanadium oxide catalysts

Structural dynamics of vanadium oxide catalysts

Our work on the wavelength-dependent and time-dependent investigation of the structure of supported vanadium oxide (VOx) during oxidative dehydrogenation of ethanol was recently published in the journal J. Phys. Chem. C.

In particular, they demonstrate the potential of targeted operando resonance Raman spectroscopy for the elucidation of the function of heterogeneous catalysts, since a wide range of information about the molecular structure of the adsorbates as well as the active transition metal oxide species is accessible.
