On April 30, 2025, colleagues and friends came together to celebrate Dipl.-Ing. Karl Kopp and his remarkable journey at TU Darmstadt, which began in 2009. As the long-standing head of the practical course of Physical Chemistry, Karl played a key role in shaping the department and was known for his expertise, warmth, and unwavering support.
While we’re sad to see him go, the event was filled with heartfelt appreciation, fond memories, and warm wishes for this exciting new chapter. Karl leaves behind not just a legacy of excellence, but also many friendships and unforgettable moments.
Thank you, Karl – you’ll be missed, but never forgotten!
