David Schlander successfully completed his bachelor thesis in the Schäfer group on June 19, 2020. Congratulations! The thesis is entitled “Construction and Testing of a Radiant Heating System for the Preparation of Pure and Oxidic Silicon Surfaces in Ultra-High Vacuum” and was prepared in the field of cluster catalysis.
With the help of his work it will be possible in future to prepare surfaces in ultra-high vacuum without contaminating them.
