Niklas von Rhein successfully completed his bachelor thesis in the Schäfer group on September 10, 2020. Congratulations! The thesis is entitled “Adsorption Studies of Small Lewis Bases on Metal and Oxide Surfaces Using Density Functional Theory” and was prepared in the field of cluster catalysis.
With the help of his work it will be possible in future to calculate adsorption energies of various clusters on surfaces and Lewis acidities of surfaces in order to support experimental results theoretically.
