Faraday Discussion on Nanoalloys

2022/09/26

From September 21 to 23, 2022, the Faraday Discussion was held in London on the topic “Nanoalloys: Recent Developments and Future Perspectives”, where Prof. Dr. Rolf Schäfer gave a presentation on the topic “Magnetic and Optical Properties of Nanoalloys”.

The Faraday Discussion, contemporaneous namesake of the RSC Journal, comprises a series of publications of a particular themed collection about rapidly developing areas of physical chemistry. In addition to the publications, there is a discussion meeting, with questions and debates being also published afterwards.

The talk given for the meeting outlined the topic “Joint Electric and Magnetic Beam Deflection Experiments and Quantum Chemical Studies on MSn12 Clusters (M = Al, Ga, In): On the Interplay of Geometric Structure and Magnetic Properties in Nanoalloys.”
