On the 14th of December, a publication by our colleagues Monika Gnatzy and Steffen Hartmann was announced to go online.

Class A GPCRs are key drug targets, but screening for weakly binding molecules remains challenging, especially for poorly druggable GPCRs. This paper presents a proximity-based screening system utilizing engineered class A/B GPCR chimeras and hybrid ligands, achieving over 20× activity enhancement and enabling the detection of weakly activating sequences in living cell membranes.
