Laboratory sustainability programs such as LEAF and My Green Lab can be used to make laboratory operations more sustainable.

The programs and their impact have been scientifically investigated. In addition, LEAF was rolled out via the Sustainable Laboratories Initiative at TU Darmstadt, and a customizable tool was created in collaboration with NIUB Sustainability Consulting to remedy the weaknesses of existing programs.

The Germany-wide comparison of the market-leading sustainability programs LEAF and MGL was published in RSC Sustainability, thus generating a decision-making aid that enables research groups worldwide to make an informed decision in favour of a sustainability program

We are proud to announce that our Lab has now reached the second Level of the program, the Silver Level with out sustainability coordinators Noah Neder and Pragyasree Bhowmick.
