Federal Research Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger and Hesse's Reseach Minister Angela Dorn learned about outstanding and innovative energy research projects made possible by the Lichtenberg II high-performance computer at Technical University Darmstadt during their tour of the facility last week. Among others, co-spokesperson Vera Krewald, Professor of Theoretical Chemistry, presented the CRC 1487 “Iron, upgraded!” and its contribution to a sustainable future.
