Winner of the International Sol-Gel Society PhD Thesis Award 2022

Dr. Mathias Stanzel has received the Gold Medal of the International Sol-Gel Society (ISGS) PhD Thesis award 2022 for his work entitled “Mesoporous film architectures and step gradient formation”. The award, granted by the ISGS and first launched in 2018, was created to distinguish PhD theses that represent outstanding contributions to scientific and/or technological knowledge in the field of sol-gel chemistry and related fields.
