In the group phase, the teams were divided into two groups, with the first and second-placed teams advancing to the semi-finals. This year, the Busch working group participated again with a team and was able to achieve third place within the group. In the following match for fifth place, the team put up a good fight, but was defeated by the joint team of the physical chemistry working groups and achieved sixth place overall. In the final, the team formed jointly by the organic chemistry working groups won.

In 2024, numerous spectators once again gathered in the stadium to cheer on their teams. Parallel to the sports program, the nearby university swimming pool (Hochschulbad) offered the opportunity to cool off in the sunny weather.
