18th LDPE Plant Improvement Conference

The 18th LDPE Plant Improvement Conference took place from June 2 to 4, 2025 in Izmir, Turkey. Global companies involved in the operation of LDPE and EVA producing plants get together at the conference organized by Uhde HPT to exchange news and innovations in the industry.
For several years now, the latest research from the working group has been presented at the LDPE Plant Improvement Conference to an audience of industry specialists in particular. This year, the group was represented with a total of two presentations:
- Towards Peroxide Cocktail Design: Calorimetric Investigation on Peroxide Cocktails and their Performance in the High-Pressure Polyethylene Process, Svenja Albus, Sandra Pietrasch, Markus Busch
- Investigation of Decomposition and Relief Scenarios in High-Pressure Systems, Daniel Dyck, Markus Busch
As part of the conference, the participants from the working group were given the opportunity to present the working methods and additional insights into current research of the working group at their own stand in addition to the presentations. The LDPE Plant Improvement Conference offers a good platform for gaining an insight into industry-relevant topics and making contacts in the LDPE production industry.
