ASME PVP 2023 Atlanta

2023/07/16

The ASME PVP (Pressure Vessels & Piping) Conference was held this year from July 16th to 21st in Atlanta (Georgia, USA). The research group Busch was represented with three presentations.

On this year’s ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) PVP Conference in Atlanta, representatives from academia and industry from more than 40 different countries were received. The aim of the conference was to exchange the expertise, current research, technologies and ideas, which belong to the extensive field of pressure vessels and piping. Within this conference, Professor Busch presented the progress of the research group regarding the lab-scale multi-zone autoclave, while Moritz Imhoff and Aaron Röblitz were able to present the results of their research on the topic of safety engineering. In total, the following presentations were contributed by the research group Busch:

  • Design of a Lab-Scale Multi-Zone-Autoclave for LDPE High-Pressure Polymerization Systems, Lena Gockel, Laura Ständecke, Nicola Schreiner, Markus Busch (presentation)
  • Ventilating Process and Pyrolysis Gas from High-Pressure – Reactor Conditions on Mini-Plant Scale, Moritz Imhoff, Markus Busch (presentation)
  • Visualization of the Decomposition and Relief Process in High-Pressure Systems, Aaron Röblitz, Markus Busch (presentation)
