The presentation titled “Deflagration and Relief Investigations in the High-Pressure System of the LDPE-Process“ of Aaron Röblitz and Markus Busch is one of three decorated lectures of the conference. The presentation discusses the decomposition and relief behavior of ethene under process conditions and evaluates the results with visual and measurement data-based analysis methods. Through the investigation of the influence of the relief process and other parameters, conclusions can be drawn about the design of safety valves.
