Annual Meeting Reaction Engineering 2019
2019/05/31
From May 27-29, 2019, the annual meeting of reaction technology organized by Dechema took place at Marienberg Castle in Würzburg.

The focus of this year's conference was, in addition to classical reaction technology, on multiphase reaction systems. On the other hand, the focus was placed on the field of electrochemical reaction technology, which is becoming increasingly relevant in the context of renewable energy sources. The working group was represented with three posters and a lecture. In addition, Sascha Hintenlang actively supported Dechema during the lecture sessions to ensure the smooth running of the technology.
- Julia Eigenseer, M.Sc.: “Correlation of Process Conditions and Polymer Properties in Continuous Solution Polymerization” (lecture)
- Paul Peikert, M.Sc.: “Stochastic Modelling of the Molecular Weight Distribution by Conceiving a Virtual GPC” (poster)
- Oliver Salmann, M.Sc.: “Compartmentalization of a Hybrit-Stochastical Model to Describe Mixing Effects on the Polymeric Microstructure” (poster)
- Maria Dernbach, M.Sc.: “Modeling Rheological Properties of HDPE and LLDPE” (poster)
