PRE 2019 in Hamburg

2019/06/11

From June 11-14, 2019, the 13th Conference for Polymer Reaction Engineering (PRE) of Dechema took place in Hamburg.

PhD students and former members of the research group with Professor Busch at the PRE.

The annual conference focuses on the improvement of existing and the development of new large-scale processes for polymer synthesis. In doing so, it bridges the gap between industrial application and current research, including in the fields of catalysis, analytics and modeling. Besides Professor Busch, our group was represented by five posters (Maria Dernbach, Paul Peikert, Julia Eigenseer, Anton Hilfer, Elisabeth Schulz) and two lectures (Oliver Salman, Ömer Delibalta). Anton Hilfer was additionally awarded the Wiley Poster Prize. Jana Sartorius and Isabel Kronshorst support Dechema in ensuring that the technology runs smoothly during the lecture sessions. Kristina Pflug, David Eckes and David Zink also participated as former members of the working group.
