Excursion to Vienna

From 11 to 13 March, an excursion to Vienna took place as part of this year's advanced design project. This excursion with about 20 American guests was also joined by a large part of the research group of Professor Busch. The excursion had about 50 participants in total.
This year the advanced design project was planned in cooperation with Borealis AG and OMV, who invited to visit their pyrolysis plant in Vienna. During the journey to Vienna, the shutdown in Austria was suddenly declared due to the corona pandemic. Still, enough sights worth seeing for a small program remained in Vienna. Additionally, for our American guests there were travel restrictions back to the USA. All special challenges were mastered and all participants have now returned home safe and sound.
