ECCE 2021

2021/09/20

From September 20-23, 2021, the 13th ECCE (European Congress of Chemical Engineering) in combination with the 6th ECAB (European Congress of Applied Biotechnology) entitled “Engineering the Future” was held as an online event organized by DECHEMA.

The event, which focuses on new research in chemical reaction engineering, had over 1000 participants from academia and industry. Approximately 500 presentations took place in 14 parallel sessions over four days. Over the entire conference period, more than 200 posters were exhibited, among them by Kristina Zentel, Moritz Imhoff and Lena Gockel from Prof. Busch's research group. In addition, the WPPRE (Working Party on Polymer Reaction Engineering) was presented in a virtual booth, which was prepared and supervised by Kristina Zentel, Elisabeth Nowottny and Laura Euler Bueno.

  • Dr. rer. Nat. Kristina Zentel: „Process and Reactor Optimization via a Combined 3D Printing and Modeling Approach for Continuous Polymerization” (Poster)
  • M. Sc. Moritz Imhoff: „Decomposition and Pressure Relief Scenarios in the Context of the High-Pressure Polymerization Process” (Poster)
  • M. Sc. Lena Gockel: „CFD Simulation of a Continuous High-Pressure Polymerization Reactor” (Poster)
