Basell and TU Darmstadt have been working closely together for many years in research projects in the field of high-pressure polymerization. During the excursion, a scientific exchange took place in which the members of the working group presented their current state of research. On the other hand, the group was guided through an LDPE plant and a plant for monomer production. During a site tour, the group members were also given an overview of the other production facilities at the site.
