For her poster titled “Calorimetric Investigation of Decomposition Kinetics of Peroxide(mixtures) under High Pressure using Transitiometry” Svenja Albus wins together with Jana Sartorius the “Best Poster Award” of the annual meeting of the ProcessNet group High-Pressure Process Engineering 2022.
Transitiometry is a calorimetric method that allows simultaneous recording of pressure, temperature, and volume at high pressures up to 4000 bar. The poster shows the research results on the calorimetric investigation of peroxides and peroxide mixtures. The heat of reaction of the exothermic peroxide decomposition is recorded to obtain information on kinetic parameters depending on the reaction environment.
