Chemcup 2022

After a break due to the pandemic, the Chemcup – the soccer tournament in the chemistry department – took place again on August 4th. With 12 registered teams, the event was very well received.
The Busch working group was also represented with a team and was supported by employees of the mechanical workshop. After a successful preliminary round, the team was defeated in the quarterfinals by the Rose working group. The winner of the tournament was the Hausch working group. Despite the hot weather with over 35 °C, numerous spectators also found their way to the Hochschulstadion to cheer on their teams. Cooling down was provided by cold drinks and the Hochschulbad. Many thanks to Lars Stoltenberg, Felix Kornemann, Alexander Klimeck and Jonas Degenkolb from the Etzold and Busch working groups for organizing the Chemcup!
