PRE 2022 in Scottsdale

The 16th Conference on Polymer Reaction Engineering (PRE) was held in Scottsdale (Arizona, USA) from December 11-15, 2022.
The focus of the conference is on the interplay of product and process conditions for the tailored design of polymers. It bridges the gap between industrial application and ongoing research. This year, Kristina Zentel traveled to Scottsdale together with Prof. Busch. In her talk “Understanding Polymerization Processes in Detail by Combining Experimental and Modeling studies” she presented her recent research results. She also presented the results of Sandra Pietrasch's master thesis on the solution polymerization of vinyl acetate.
