Annual Meeting High-Pressure Process Engineering 2023

2023/03/13

From March 13th to 15th this year’s meeting of the DECHEMA working groups for High-Pressure Process Engineering and Food Processing Engineering took place at the Ruhr University Bochum.

In a first plenary lecture, the application of a method of capturing gas in water under high pressure and low temperature conditions, as well as its potential in food processing engineering, was presented. In addition to the following lectures, the joint poster sessions and the evening program enabled the exchange between the two groups. Furthermore, subject-specific sessions on both high-pressure process engineering and food processing engineering were held. Our working group is represented at the conference with the topics transfer behaviour, modeling, safety engineering and reactor design. The following posters and presentations were contributed:

  • Influence of Alcohols on the High-Pressure Polymerization of Ethene, Laura Euler Bueno, Markus Busch (presentation)
  • Modeling High-Pressure Ethylene Copolymerizations – Depiction of Topologies, Julian Kirsch, Alina Weber, Markus Busch (poster)
  • Visualization of Decomposition and Relief Phenomena in High-Pressure Systems, Aaron Röblitz, Markus Busch (presentation)
  • Stirrer Development of Multizone Autoclaves, Laura Ständecke, Lena Gockel, Markus Busch (presentation)
