A04

In A04, iron molybdates/vanadates are synthesized and characterized using X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy, and thermodynamic measurements. Reactivity studies are conducted on the oxidation of intermetallic phases and on the metallothermic reduction of ternary complex oxides. The further selection of materials to be investigated are model systems that take into account the catalytic questions raised by the cooperation partners from subprojects A and C.
