B05

Project B05 establishes combined operando NMR and UV/Vis as tool for real-time characterization and online monitoring of iron-catalyzed (cross-coupling) reactions. This allows for the simultaneous characterization of diamagnetic or (weakly) paramagnetic NMR-active species and the detection and quantification of colored (but NMR-silent) species by UV/Vis spectroscopy. This enables an in-depth understanding of the time course of the reaction and species involved in iron-catalyzed reactions.
