Academy Award for Young Scientists to Dr. Kristina Zentel

The Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz has awarded Dr. Kristina Zentel – at the suggestion of Prof. H. Ringsdorf – an Academy Prize for Young Scientists. The prize is a recognition of her scientific achievements and an encouragement for future research.

After a post-doctoral phase at the University of Hamburg, Kristina Zentel has been active as a habilitand in the research group of Prof. Dr. M. Busch since summer 2021. She is working on polymerization technology, including emulsion processes. In addition to reactor design and optimization by means of 3D printing, she is engaged in modeling with regard to kinetics, flow and microstructure.
