Modern aspects of magnetic resonance (WS07/08)
The lecture course entiteled “Modern aspects of magnetic resonance” was offered in the winter term 2007/08 together with PD. Dr. Rüdiger Eichel.
Selected examples of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and electron spin resonance (ESR) will be discussed. Therefore examples from organic chemistry as well as from material science will be presented:
Determination of conformation and configuration in organic compounds
Crosscorrelated relaxation of double and zeroquantum coherences
NMR in orienting media (residual dipolar couplings)
Determination of distances in materials
ENDOR
HYSCORE / ESEEM
PELDOR
Solid state NMR spectroscopy
